Collecting Your Data
- We will collect your personal data when you register. If you register as a Candidate we shall collect your name, email, mobile number, location and all other personal data in your CV or that you otherwise upload to the CATERER BOOK site. If you register as an Employer, we shall collect your name, email, mobile number together with your company name, HQ and address and all other personal data in your CV or that you otherwise upload to the CATERER BOOK site. All personal data that you provide to us must be true, complete and accurate, and you must notify us of any changes to such personal data. You must not register under someone else’s name.
- You must keep your log-in details confidential. You are responsible for all activity under your CATERER BOOK account.
- When you use the CATERER BOOK site, we, or third parties on our behalf, automatically collect and store information about your device and your activities. This information could include (a) your computer or other device’s unique ID number; (b) your mobile device’s geographic location; (c) your IP address: (d) technical information about your device such as type of device, web browser or operating system; (e) your preferences and settings such as time zone and language; (f) how long you used the CATERER BOOK site and which services and features you used.
- We also allow advertisers and advertising networks to collect information about your computer or mobile device, activities, and geographic location to enable them to display targeted ads to you and provide us with anonymous information about our users’ behaviour.

Use of your personal data
- You acknowledge and agree that by uploading your CV to CATERER BOOK, your CV is available for all potential employers to search, view and download. We cannot restrict access to your CV to particular employers. This means that your current employer may view your CV.
- If you are a candidate and you request that we do so, we shall send you details of jobs that match your search criteria.
- If you are a candidate and you consent to such sharing, we shall share your CV with other job platforms namely Broadbean, Logic melon, Idibu, CV Review and CV Library (Third Party Platforms). These Third Party Platforms may use your CV on their website and in accordance with their terms and conditions. We are not responsible for any act or omission of Third Party Platforms , but if you no longer want your CV to be included on the Third Party Platforms , please notify us, and we shall require Third Party Platforms to remove your CV from their website.
- In addition, we may use your personal data to (a) manage your account; and (b) in our legitimate interests to prevent potentially prohibited or illegal activities and enforce the terms of use of the CATERER BOOK site.
- We may use your personal data on an anonymous basis (a) to customise, measure and improve our services, content and advertising; (b) to better understand our users, diagnose and fix problems; and (c) for research purposes, identifying trends and for our general business purposes.
- Subject to the provisions above, we do not share personal data with third parties, except (a) to respond to legal requirements (including under the General Data Protection Regulations 2016/679 as amended) or protect a third party’s rights, property, or safety; (b) to any service providers, sub-contractors and agents that we may appoint to perform functions on our behalf and in accordance with our instruction, including payment providers and platform hosts, IT service providers, lawyers, accountants and auditors; and (c) in connection with, or during negotiations of, any merger, sale of assets, consolidation or restructuring, financing, or acquisition of all or a portion of our business by or into another company.
- We do not store credit card details, nor do we share financial details with any 3rd parties.

Marketing
- When you register with CATERER BOOK, agree that it is in our legitimate interests to send marketing email messages to you. You can choose to no longer receive marketing emails from us by updating your CATERER BOOK account, contacting us at [email address] or clicking unsubscribe from a marketing email. We shall therefore retain your personal data in our records for marketing purposes until you notify us that you no longer wish to receive marketing emails from us.

Where we hold and process your personal data
- Some or all of your personal data may be stored or transferred outside of the European Economic Area (the EEA) for any reason, including for example, if our email server is located in a country outside the EEA or if any of our service providers are based outside of the EEA

Cookies

On login, wordpress uses the wordpress_[hash] cookie to store your authentication details. Its use is limited to the admin console area, /wp-admin/ After login, wordpress sets the wordpress_logged_in_[hash] cookie, which indicates when you’re logged in, and who you are, for most of the interface use WordPress also sets a few wp-settings-{time}-[UID] cookies. The number on the end is your individual user ID from the users database table. This is used to customise your view of the admin interface, and possibly also the main site interface. - We also use Google Analytics to monitor how the CATERER BOOK site is used. Google Analytics collects information anonymously and generates reports detailing information such as the number of visits to the CATERER BOOK site, where visitors generally came from, how long they stayed on the CATERER BOOK site, and which pages they visited. Google Analytics places several persistent cookies on your computer’s hard drive. These do not collect any personal data. If you do not agree to this you can disable persistent cookies in your browser. This will prevent Google Analytics from logging your visits. To exercise these rights, or any other rights you may have under applicable laws, please contact us and we shall process your request in accordance with applicable laws.
- Please note, we reserve the right to charge an administrative fee if your request is manifestly unfounded or excessive.
- We shall retain your personal data for 6 months after you terminate your CATERER BOOK account in order to ensure that we are able to deal with any queries or complaints you make. If you haven’t actively used your CATERER BOOK account for 3 years, we shall delete your personal data.

General
- If any provision of this Privacy & Cookie Policy is held by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid or unenforceable, then such provision shall be construed, as nearly as possible, to reflect the intentions of the parties and all other provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
